Question: What kind of short dress looks good with jeans?
Answer: It’s a good idea to go with a mini dress or tunic—anything longer than mid-thigh will be tough to wear. Start with a great pair of jeans. A dark skinny will work with just about any pattern or color. A striped cotton turtleneck dress is super cute paired with flats or over-the-knee boots. Or go for a heavier knit, like a crew or scoopneck dress in a dark neutral—monochromatic shades are slimming. Add a great piece of statement jewelry like a bold cuff or dramatic necklace to dress up your look.

Question: I’m seeing a lot of prints for spring. What piece should I buy to wear with everything?
Answer: All kinds of prints—graphic, florals, abstracts danced about the catwalks this season. The good news is that there are no rules to matching. It’s time relax and have fun! Mix a colorful graphic floral top with menswear suiting or wear with your favorite jeans. A great piece to buy now? A floral pant (cropped or wide and cuffed) teams perfectly with neutrals. Try layering up tees and superfine knits or have fun by mixing striped banker shirts with the pants. If you want to play it a little safer, then snap up an abstract print dress (shift or tee shirt style) to wear everywhere.
