At Evan Biddell, a kooky 20s-inspired silent film kicked off a high-octane presentation filled with exaggerated shapes, billowing silhouettes and offbeat textural play. An asymmetrical, fringe-hooded mini followed a bold and bright pop-printed jumpsuit. A ribbon-striped, armoured jacket transitioned to patent leather harem pants, and a holographic funnel-necked dress. And closing the collection, a series of cork pieces – a tunic, vest, hoop skirt and mega-cap-sleeved topper – felt otherworldly paired with ballooning trousers, a slashed halter, and skin-tight leather cigarette pants.
