When Kate Middleton wore Issa London’s royal blue wrap dress to announce her engagement to Prince William in 2010, she gave the brand its claim to fame. Since then, A-listers from Katy Perry and Jessica Alba to Madonna have been snapped in the designer pieces. Lucky for us, the versatile designs are set to become more accessible with an Issa London x Banana Republic collaboration.

Inspired by Banana’s safari heritage, the limited-edition capsule collection, launching August 6, will feature kimono, signature wrap-tie and pleated dresses in solid colours and a slew of prints, plus African-inspired accessories to match. “We always love animal prints such as zebra and giraffe stripes,” Simon Kneen, Banana Republic’s creative director and executive vice president of design, told WWD. “Issa took that and modernized it. I love that the collection is our world and their world.” Combining the two worlds comes at a reasonable price too: from $39 for accessories and $150 for dresses and totes. We’re excited to get our hands on some pieces by the Duchess of Cambridge’s go-to label.
