In another round of musical chairs within the world of fashion, French label Chloé has just announced it will replace creative director Hannah MacGibbon’s with former Pringle star Clare Waight Keller.  Since 1952, the house of Chloé has rotated numerous designers through its doors but MacGibbon’s may be one of the shortest. MacGibbon’s closes her reign with one of the most talked about shows of the Spring 2011 season. Her dance-inspired show left many in awe of the renewed and upbeat minimalism at the house, however Waight Keller sounds ready to lead the brand into it’s next season: “I am thrilled to be joining one of the most prestigious design houses in Paris. Chloé is a brand that conveys a beautiful sense of effortless femininity and vivacious sophistication that I look forward to continuing into the next era.
