Rumours are swirling that Maison Martin Margiela will join H&M’s line-up of collaborations for Fall 2012. From accessories by Anna Dello Russo to another capsule by David Beckham, the global retail shop is said to be developing an avant-garde collection with Margiela for later this season. Since exiting in 2009, the label created by Martin Margiela is currently under the control of Renzo Rosso, the denim genius behind Diesel, but ties to the creator still exist. Our best guess is a clean collection in neutrals (perhaps in all white), with constructed deconstruction.
Update: H&M has confirmed that Maison Martin Margiela will debut a capsule collection this fall for women and men, to be released around the world on November 15. The line will be created by the house and team of Martin Margiela focusing on “anonymity, whites, [and] ambiguity.”
