Canadian supermodel Coco Rocha is on a charitable mission and needs your help. The two-time FLARE cover girl will be traveling to Haiti in January (alongside fellow model Behati Prinsloo) on a goodwill trip with Lakay Pam, an organization that provides aid to orphans. While there, Rocha will be volunteering and filming a documentary, which she will soon share on her popular blog.
Taking her work one step further, Rocha is asking followers to get our their pen and paper and write letters Haitians in need. “When we visit the orphanages, we want to take with us letters from people around the world to show the children of Haiti that they have global friends, real people who care about them,” explains Coco on her site. “In return, we will be bringing back with us their letters to you all.” It’s a simple, low-cost way that anyone can give back. Could Coco Rocha be more of a model citizen?
