Charlotte Hosten Opens Her First Montreal Atelier/Boutique

When it comes to conversation-starting accessories, Charlotte Hosten is a cut above. And now that the Montreal-based bauble maker has opened her first eponymous boutique in Mile End, local fashion lovers can snap up her one-of-a-kind creations straight from the source.

Handmade from a mix of materials including silk, linen, metal, beads and semi-precious stones, each unique design is intricately layered to add a high-drama element to any ensemble.

Pieces range from $49 for a flower brooch to up to $750 for a one-off necklace, with plenty of statement stunners available for $175 to $320 apiece. If arm candy is more your thing, Hosten also features a selection of chunky bracelets ($65 to $135), along with hand-picked products by artisans from around the world, including Missibaba handbags (a Canadian exclusive), accessories from Montreal’s Fullum & Holt and Harricana by Mariouche, along with beautiful pillows and candles (starting at $26), all elegantly arranged in Hosten’s chic-meets-homey boutique.

Whether you’re shopping for a gift or for yourself, the challenge will be choosing just one (or two… or four…).
