Canadian Jean-Pierre Braganza debuted a clean and accessible Spring 2012 collection in London last week, and he continues to leave his mark on the fashion metropolis. Known for his constructed tailoring, specifically his structured blazers, Braganza will impart a little bit of design wisdom this Friday at Selfridges’ pop-up Sweat Shop.

Inspired by Paris’ Canal St. Marin, Sweat Shop will allow customers to design their own work with a little help from some of the industry’s top experts including designer Markus Lupfer and fashion pros at Sonia Rykiel and Oliver Sweeney. With wide open work tables and functioning sewing machines, shoppers will be given the rare opportunity to design their own top of the line piece with their own hands, and a little imagination. From sequin embroidery to Braganza’s signature draping, this is an opportunity not to be missed if one is shopping across the pond.
