Question: I just bought a few “shrugs” that were on sale as last years clearance. Are they still fashionable, or have I bought a style that is long gone?

Answer:
Shrugs are very chic for spring. Designers showed tiny shrug-like jackets paired with voluminous tops and dresses on the runways. Models have been seen sporting crochet and knit shrugs paired with jeans backstage at the international collections.

Wear a shrug with an empire waist dress and chunky platform heels. The shrug helps balance the proportion and the heels will ground the look.

Try pairing a billowy cotton tank with a knit shrug and finish with cute jeans and stacked heel pumps.

Add your favorite gold chains or pendants to give it a fresh look.

Put away last year’s lingerie-inspired camisole in favor of long slim-fitting layered tanks.

For great shrugs, check out the following retailers: Dynamite, H&M, Winners, Le Chateau, Bebe.
