Warning! A fashion travesty has occurred! Anna Wintour was captured (refer to the Instagram shot above) sitting second row (gasp!) at the Valentino show during Paris Fashion Week behind her colleagues Tonne Goodman, Grace Coddington and Teen Vogue’sAmy Astley.

Owning a set in front row signifies your status within the fashion industry, so why was the Queen of Fashion bumped from her permanent perch?

Rumour has it that the seats for American publications at Valentino were cut significantly this season, so it’s possible (but unlikely) that Wintour gave up her seat for Sarah Mower– she’s captured chatting to Mower reviewing the show for Vogue.com.

Does this mean the digital editors will get the extra extra VIP status at fashion week? We here at Flare.com can only dream, but second row isn’t half-bad either.
