And The Winner Is…

Danier Design Challenge Winner Announced

by

Last week, we told you about the contest Danier had created with Ryerson University’s School of Fashion Design.  The challenge issued to students was to create the most desirable and modern leather topper.  It had to display design ingenuity and appeal to customers.  You see, Danier is not just rewarding the winner with a plum monetary prize, they will also offer the winning jacket in their stores across Canada.  The 1st place leather look (pictured) is by Vancouver Island native John Hillifer.  The thickly crackled finish, asymmetrical darting and slim fit are very urban nomad, while the back-strap adds an element of utility that fits right in with fashion’s zeitgeist.  This leather perfecto is definitely A+.
