Alexander Wang Relaunches Site With Terence Koh Collaboration

The designer launches a new interactive site to correspond with the opening of its New York flagship

To go along with the opening of its first flagship store in New York, Alexander Wang has re-launched his label’s website with a completely new design, graphics and content. The site, which sells accessories, ready-to-wear, and Wang’s successful and lower-priced T by Alexander Wang, still only offers U.S. shipping, but international destinations are expected to be added by the end of the year. Beyond the e-commerce component, visitors can get the latest news, campaigns, videos, and updates on special collaborative projects.
The first of these projects is a collaboration with acclaimed artist Terence Koh, who created a mask, in the form of a halo of light, to obscure the models’ face in the e-commerce pictures. The series will be ongoing in future seasons. There is also a never-before-seen documentary style video featuring DJ Diplo and model Ashley Smith the faces of the Spring 11 T by Alexander Wang campaign.
