British model Alexa Chung hasn’t given up on her new role as an author, even though she’s recently added being the face of L’Oréal’s IONA hair colour to her list of duties. No, this model is never off-duty. The good news is she’s got more of a handle on this whole writing thing, compared to when the news of her book first broke last October. Not that writing is a foreign concept to the model who has also dabbled in fashion journalism.
“I’m writing, I’m drawing and I’m taking photographs,” shared Chung. “It’s definitely not an autobiography, but it’s me writing so in a way it probably will have that element.” Although it came as a shock that she’s most excited about the drawing aspect of her book, it does make sense that the quirky and off the cuff model’s love for fashion would transcend to other art forms. We just weren’t aware her list of talents never ends. Her book, which still remains untitled, will be releasing this September with Penguin Group, so make room on your bookshelf.
