Between the street-style peacock flock’s hourly outfit changes and contrived “caught you” moments at fashion weeks around the world, we’re starving for some realness. Enter top model Leona “Binx” Walton and her refreshing couldn’t-give-an-eff attitude toward fashion. The 20-year-old Tennessee native made her runway debut at Marc Jacobs’ fall ’13 show. She’s since racked up an impressive catwalk resumé—43 shows during the spring ’15 season alone—and has starred in a slew of campaigns for some of the industry’s coolest labels, like Alexander Wang and Coach. Off the runway, her personal style alternates between board-ready streetwear (hoodies, skater shorts, slogan tees; case in point, this retro baseball tee after the spring ’15 Céline show) and stone cold sleekness (monochromatic slips, oversized shirt-dresses). Binx does her own thing whether the cameras are on her or not, and for that she gets our stamp of authenticity.
