Artists, musicians, and even a top model stopped by the new 7 For All Mankind denim store at Yorkdale Mall in Toronto. To celebrate the launch, the jean brand and supermodel Yasmin Warsame hosted a small exhibit titled Seven Senses which enlisted seven Canadian artists to create unique installations using the brand’s signature fabric. From a contorted mannequin wrapped in denim to a parachute-like structure, each piece was up for auction in support of The African Future foundation which aids victims of drought in Dhoobley, Somalia and across the Horn of Africa.

The roster of Canadian artists included: Justin Broadbent, Julie Moon, Bryan Espiritu, Talwst (Curtis) Santiago, Phoebe Lo and Elicser. Also in this group of rising talent was fashion photographer and noted party hopper Caitlin Cronenberg, who will be blogging exclusively for FLARE.com during the Toronto International Film Festival.
