The All-American designer is heading to reality TV. Starting next week, American Idol contestants will receive style tips from fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger as they continue to develop their performance identities on the show.
The newly-created post will see the designer advise contestants on their personal style and will help guide their style transformations as they fight for their chance to become the next American Idol.
Hilfiger began his fashion career at the age of 18 by selling denim jeans and styling his brother’s band, and has since worked with some of the biggest names in music, including The Rolling Stones, Lenny Kravitz, David Bowie, Britney Spears, Beyonce and Taylor Swift.
Watch the top 12 perform and see what they are wearing, live on Wednesday, March 14th at 8 p.m. EST on CTV.–Erin Fitzsimmons
