About 75% of the fun of Toronto International Film Festival season is the parties, honey! Here, we give you a chic peek inside the most luxe, star-studded TIFF 2017 parties.

September 11: Ellen Page and Kate Mara at the My Days of Mercy premiere party hosted by GREY GOOSE Vodka and Soho House
The movie: My Days of Mercy
The chic locale: Soho House in the third floor “Pretzel Bar” (that name still makes me lolz)
The stars in attendance: Kate Mara, Ellen Page, Jamie Bell and Benedict Cumberbatch
The scene: I never thought I’d see a DJ dressed in a full-on Louis Vuitton suit but alas, parties at the Soho House are obvs an anomaly. Hipster-looking servers shimmied their suspenders in between the 30-odd people squeezed into the library-esque room, while Ellen Page and her adorable GF cuddled on the *reserved* antique velvet green couch (and whom I almost accidentally sat on—sorry, E).
The fanciest drink I sipped: Le Grand Fizz—vodka, elderflower liqueur, a bunch of lime juice and soda water.
The swankiest appy I ate: Mini avo toast with fancy toppings (which probs got stuck in my teeth, because #Clutz).
The biggest star I shared the same air as: ASSide (get it?) from almost sitting on Ellen and her date, I was walking down those rickety Soho House staircases post-Grand Fizz and bumped my dumb shoulder into the ever handsome Benedict Cumberbatch. YUP—FREAKIN’ SHERLOCK. He just said a dainty British “Sorry!” but I died of embarrassment. When I texted my boyfriend about the encounter, he said “Can you tell him to quit doing movies and give us more Sherlock?”
The craziest thing I overheard: Guest to friend: “How will you get back to LA?” Friend: “We have a charter plane heading out tomorrow.” So chic.
