Originally from Montreal and now living in Los Angeles, actor Emily Hampshire stars in the Canuck comedy The Trotsky (in theatres now) opposite funny man Jay Baruchel. In the flick, she plays the love interest of Baruchel’s character—a quirky Montreal teenager who believes he’s a reincarnation of the Russian revolutionary figure Leon Trotsky. We caught up with Hampshire to get the scoop on some of her favourite bicoastal finds.
Favourite Canadian designer: “It’s a tie between Comrags and Pink Tartan.”
Favourite Restaurant: “ANIMAL in LA. My favourite dish is the Poutine (of course) with oxtail gravy and cheddar cheese.”
