Emma Watson is having one big summer. The starlet has been in Pittsburgh this month filming The Perks of Being A Wallflower. She told MTV, “I’m having the time of my life. I really am having a very, very good summer.” “Good” might be an understatement. The film has roughly three more weeks of shooting and then Ms. Watson will go into full promo mode for the latest (and potentially greatest) Potter flick. In case you somehow haven’t heard, the final installment of the Harry Potter movies, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, comes out July 15.
“Perks” also stars Canadian and Vampire Diaries star, Nina Dobrev, as well as Logan Lerman of Percy Jackson and the Olympians fame. Though she’s starring in the film adaptation of the beloved book, Watson could never actually be a wallflower – something she found out for herself. In a recent interview with the Sunday Times Style Magazine, Watson discussed dealing with fame while attending Brown University: “I wanted to pretend I wasn’t as famous as I was. I was trying to seek out normality, but I kind of have to accept who I am, the position I’m in and what happened. ” Yeah, it really must be hard to be a normal 21 year-old when you’re a mega movie star and the new face of Lancôme. It’s a tough life.
Since we don’t have a trailer for The Perks of Being a Wallflower yet, let’s enjoy another awesome film adaptation. Here’s the trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. – Regan Reid
