The Hottest Guys of the World Cup: Tuesday, June 17

Two smoking reasons to watch Brazil versus Mexico today

Brazil Simply known as Neymar, the 22-year-old Brazilian forward Neymar da Silva Santos Junior is the team’s undisputed leading man. With his alternative hot-guy look—punk-rock hair and dreamy eyelashes—he could pass for Zayn Malik’s tougher older brother. The soccer stud’s big-deal status was confirmed internationally when he recently made the cover of Time, touted as The Next Pele.

Mexico Mexico’s team captain, clean-cut Francisco Rodriguez, 32, may not have Neymar’s edgy rocker look or media buzz, but he’s got just about everything else that we’re on the lookout for, including height. The 6’3 Rodriguez is tall, dark and handsome in a European model kind of way. Though he may not make the cover of Time, we can easily see him in a Hugo Boss ad. Shirtless.
