Sean Penn Enlists Celeb Friends For New Haiti PSA

The actor and human rights advocate has created a new star-studded video campaign for his Haiti relief organization

Nearly two years after a catastrophic earthquake killed over 200,000 Haitians and displaced millions more, Sean Penn is recruiting celebrities to help the tiny Caribbean country continue the slow process of rebuilding itself. He and a knockout roster of fellow A-listers are starring in a new PSA for the J/P Haitian Relief Foundation, the organization he founded in the wake of the disaster. Zooey Deschanel, Edward Norton, Miley Cyrus, Rainn Wilson, and Sarah Silverman are only a few of the stars that appear in the video, defining what home means to them and committing to helping Haitians reclaim their fractured sense of home. “Dreaming is not so much a right as it is a human need,” explains Penn. “And without a home, there’s little else to dream about.” –Allison Friedman
