He’s certainly come a long way from his Breaker High days! Ryan Gosling is set to write and direct his first feature film titled How To Catch A Monster.
The film, which calls itself a “modern day fairytale,” will star Christina Hendricks (his Drive co-star) as a single mother who is swept into a dark fantasy world when her son discovers a secret underwater town. No word on whether Gosling will star in the film or not, but if he takes a cue out of James Franco’s book he’ll take himself too seriously as a director to do so.
“I am very appreciative to Marc Platt, Adam Siegel and Bold Films for being so supportive and I look forward to making this film with all of them,” Gosling said in a statement. We look forward to it too, Gosling. We really do. – Christian Allaire
