R-Patz Wouldn't Cross Reese

Find out what Robert Pattinson had to say about Water for Elephants co-star Reese Witherspoon

Oscar winner and newlywed Reese Witherspoon might be considered one of Hollywood’s most refined leading ladies but according to her Water for Elephants co-star Robert Pattinson, she is no pushover. During a recent cover story on the actress for Vogue, Pattinson said,  “She’s tough. You wouldn’t want to get into an argument with her at all. You can tell that she will be incredibly nice to anyone who’s not an idiot, but it’s always very clear that there’s a line that shouldn’t be crossed.”

Reese also proved to R-Patz while they were on set that she’s strong enough to handle anything–even painful animal backlash. He describes an incident where Reese’s leg was stepped on by a horse during filming. “I could see in Reese’s face that it must have hurt more than anything, and she played it off like it was absolutely nothing,” he says. “And then the next day she had this enormous bruise. It could have quite easily broken her leg, but she didn’t mention it to anybody. She is just incredibly brave that way.”
Witherspoon just wed CAA talent agent Jim Toth on March 26 at her ranch estate in Ojai, California, wearing a dress designed by Monique Lhuillier. Her film opposite Pattinson, Water for Elephants, opens April 22nd.–Ashley Singh
