When you have spare time, how do you like to spend it? “On a massage table. “
Who do you most admire? “My grandmother. She was a picture bride at the age of nineteen, who traveled from Okinawa to meet her future husband on the dock in Honolulu. She washed and ironed clothes for camp workers, sold flowers from a wheelbarrow, and raised seven children after my grandfather died of cancer. She was a beautiful, joyful spirit who lived an exemplary life.”
