Kate Moss marries Jamie Hince on Friday

Here comes the supermodel! It’s just two more days until Kate Moss says “I do” to The Kills frontman, Jamie Hince, and rest assured, nothing about their three-day wedding bash will be conventional.

First of all, Hince’s best man is actually a woman. He’s reportedly asked his band mate, Alison Mosshart, to hand him the rings on his big day, while Moss’s maid of honour is her eight-year-old daughter, Lila Grace. Rounding out the wedding party are Jude Law and Sadie Frost’s kids, seven-year-old Rudy and 10-year-old Iris (Moss’s goddaughter). Frost and Moss met back in 1997, and grew so close that Moss even loaned Frost the custom-designed John Galliano dress she wore when she wed Jude Law.
You can also expect Kate to receive some pretty expensive wedding gifts. She’s reportedly put not one, not two, but 14 $384 crystal ashtrays on her wedding registry. She’s also asking for a $10,000 silk rug and crates of 2002 Louis Roederer Cristal champagne, priced at more than $2,900 each. Moss has also asked for some considerably cheaper gifts, including a pair of his-and-hers mugs for $30 and a pair of tea strainers for $20. The weirdest (and possibly most over-priced) gift? A rabbit-shaped jelly mould for $55. – Regan Reid
