Los Angeles bred, Toronto-based actress Meghan Markle recently chatted with FLARE to discuss her role on USA’s hit television program, Suits (which aired on Bravo last night). During the interview, Markle confessed her top five picks from the Fall 2013 runways along with where she goes for retail therapy—and her next great meal—in the Canadian city she now calls home.
Starting with her favourite looks from Burberry’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection (above), Markle also selected styles from Chloé and Dior’s autumn collections that were shown in Paris (below). “I love Burberry’s chunky camel sweater. Perfect with a pencil skirt for Rachel or for me in real life with skinny jeans and heels,” Markle said, “Both the maroon Burberry dress and the black Chloé are great for me personally. For Dior, I love the black cropped and belted trench style jacket—it’s perfect for fall and very wearable.”
When not filming, she’s likely frequenting one of the shops or restaurants listed below. Scroll down to find her favourite Toronto treasures and personal hideaways.

Meghan’s Top TO Shops:

The Narwhal: They have Rachel Comey and Alexander Wang, and lots of brands that I really gravitate to for real life.

6 by Gee Beauty: They have such great pieces. I shop a lot there for summer pieces.
Meghan’s Favourite Toronto Eats:
Harbord Room: The burger? Ohhh, forget it. It’s amazing.

Bar Isabel: Incredible Spanish food and the ambiance is really cool.
House of Chan: Rick Hoffman [who plays Louis Litt on Suits] & I go to this place. [It’s] a Chinese restaurant, in theory, but I believe that they have the best steak and lobster in the city. They’re also the only place that flies in Joe’s Stone crabs from Miami.
Akram: I love it for falafel.
On Ossington’s food scene: “It’s the perfect example of this incredible pocket of restaurants. Union is really good. Pizzeria Libretto—forget it, it’s so good.”
