Torrential rain aside, nothing could keep us from attending last night’s Salon de Vuitton in support of The Canadian Opera Company’s latest production, Aida. Hosted at the Louis Vuitton store on Bloor St. in Toronto, the event is part a series of celebrations the luxury retailer is holding across Canada and the United States to promote art and culture.
Flare was there to witness the shoe department become center stage as guests were serenaded with opera arias by Canadian soprano Michele Capalbo.  The second floor of the boutique was transformed into a behind the scenes gallery treating attendees to a preview of the costumes, props and wigs used in the upcoming production. An incredible night of entertainment and shopping – a percentage of  all sales was donated to the COC – we anxiously await to see what the next Salon de Vuitton will bring!
