Twilight actress Kristen Stewart is the reported frontrunner to play Snow White in Universal’s upcoming adaptation of the classic fairy tale, entitled Snow White and the Huntsman.
Charlize Theron has already been cast as the evil queen, while Viggo Mortenson is rumoured to play the huntsman. In this updated version of the story, after the evil queen orders the huntsman to kill Snow White he changes his mind and trains her to fight back instead.
Other actresses said to be up for the part of the princess include Riley Keough, Felicity Jones, Alicia Vikander and Emily Browning, but Universal is supposedly dead set on Stewart because of her major box-office appeal.
