Kate Middleton remembered when she first caught Prince William’s eye while at a fund-raiser in London for their former stomping ground, St. Andrews University.

During the reception, the Duchess of Cambridge slyly referred back to her own undergraduate days when she wore a see-through dress for a charity fashion show. According to the Daily Mail, Middleton was talking to a current St. Andrews female undergrad when she said, “I hope you weren’t involved in the fashion show, you never know what you are going to be asked to wear!”

It was in that see-through dress that Middleton first caught the eye of fellow St. Andrews student, Prince William, back in 2002.

She also recalled dressing up as baby for Raisin Weekend, the school’s more outlandish version of Frosh Week that includes costumes and a foam fight in their quad.

The Duchess, now 30, was seen at the fundraiser in the same lace Alice Temperley dress that she first wore at the War Horse premiere earlier this year.
