Chanel handbags just got a whole lot sassier. Karl Lagerfeld has reportedly made a Chanel handbag named after his iconic white cat, Choupette.

Just last month a fake Twitter account was started for Choupette, which gained thousands of followers thanks to the cat’s upper class, elitist tweets. Now, according to a tweet from the New York Times’ Cathy Horyn, a Chanel bag is being made in honour of the feisty feline: “I just saw the Choupette bag at Chanel. Knitted, soft. Name of Karl’s cat.”

The bag will likely be debuted at Chanel’s haute couture show today, although the cat herself has remained mum on the situation: “At this time I can NOT comment on details of MY bag, but what I will say is that it’ll be as covetable as ANY and ALL things Daddy designs.” If the bag is anything like the cat, expect it to be expensive, sophisticated, and a little too much. – Christian Allaire
