Actor, director, student, writer and producer: there’s no denying the fact the James Franco is a man of many talents. His latest gig found him directing 7 For All Mankind’s spring campaign.
The campaign will feature 10 video vignettes lensed by Franco, culminating with a full-length feature film to be released in May.
The latest episode, “Love In The Old Days,” shows off the iconic imagery of Los Angeles with a cast of characters, including Restless star Henry Hopper and model Lily Donaldson, driving down the Pacific Coast Highway in a convertible.
It looks like Franco likes being behind the camera: his upcoming directing projects includes a movie adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s 1973 novel Child of God, as well as The Broken Tower which Franco wrote, directed, starred in and produced. But don’t think Franco will stay away from acting–he’s recently been seen filming Spring Breakers with Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez. He’s also following up last year’s collection of short stories, Palo Alto, with his first novel, Actor’s Anonymous, a fictionalized story of Franco’s experiences as an actor.
