Sandrine
Dark Fades Into Light

In a sound stage full of music for intent – political, sexual, or otherwise – it’s refreshing to hear a new voice filled with optimism. Remember when music just made you feel good? Dark Fades Into Light, the debut album from Australian singer Sandrine, makes you feel good. Her voice is pretty and soothing and filled with reminders to “let the love shine through” and whims like “whistlin’ in the street is all you’ll ever need”.

Sandrine’s lyrics are filled with possibility, but tinted with realism. Don’t worry—it’s not the kind of sweetness that’ll give you a cavity, but I can’t promise that it won’t make you smile.
