Did You Catch the Issue with Hailey Bieber’s Wedding Veil?

Fans are debating what they *think* is a grammatical error

Hailey Bieber’s fans have been waiting a while (relatively speaking, in 24-hour news cycle terms!) to finally see a glimpse of her wedding dress, and on October 7, they finally got one a week after she married Justin Bieber for the second time. The gown she wore while walking down the aisle is one of three gowns she wore during their celebrations in South Carolina last week.

The 22-year-old took to Instagram to share three black-and-white photos of her in the Off-White bespoke Virgil Abloh dress, but fans couldn’t help but notice something in the picture that shows her and Justin kissing.

The long-sleeved dress featured a massive tulle train, figure-hugging silhouette and a breathtaking cathedral-length veil. The backless fishtail dress was also encrusted with pearls, and at the bottom, it featured a bold statement: the words “Till Death Do Us Part!” are sewn into its hem.

“Last Monday was the most special day of my life,” Hailey wrote in the caption.

Fans (and celebrity fans) were quick to compliment her veil.

“Photo doesn’t give it full justice,” model Riley Montana wrote.

“STUNNING! You guys are glowing. So much love!!” wrote Fuller House star Danielle Fishel.

But other fans noticed a potential issue with the spelling of the veil’s message.

“Wait… isn’t ’till’ spelled incorrectly? Isn’t it ’til’?” one fan wrote.

“There’s a grammatical error on your train, girl,” another said.

For the record, the spelling is technically correct: Either ’til (with an apostrophe) or till (no apostrophe) are acceptable variations on the abbreviation of “until.”

Hailey also posted another photo showing her posing in the gorgeous gown at the couple’s wedding venue, the Montage Palmetto Bluff Hotel in South Carolina. They were married in its Somerset Chapel and celebrity pals such as Ed Sheeran, Jaden Smith, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner were in attendance.

“@virgilabloh thank you for making my vision come to life and creating my dream dress,” she wrote in the post. “You and your @off___white team are incredible and I’m forever grateful I got to wear your beautiful creation.”

As mentioned, this was one of three dresses Hailey wore during the couple’s celebrations. She chose a silk, strappy dress after the wedding and later changed into a halter dress that resembled the Stella McCartney look Duchess Meghan wore to her own reception dinner last year.

This was the second wedding for Hailey and Justin, who married in secret in September 2018 and celebrated their one-year anniversary with last week’s massive ceremony.
