Katherine Newman, Peter Cebulak, Jane Corkin and The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre organized Night of Distortion, an event out of a surrealist's dream in support of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation and its Immune Therapy Research. Distortion works by André Kertész decorated the walls of The Corkin Gallery and guests nibbled on, quite literally, "finger food" served by costumed staff. With more than 250 guests in attendance, the event raised over $1-million with all proceeds directly benefiting the cause.
