Emma Watson’s role model CV is v. impressive—from being sweet Hermione Granger, to being a total style icon, to graduating Brown University and taking on the inspiring role of UN Women Goodwill Ambassador—she puts the power in girl-power. In February, Watson announced she was taking a year off from acting, but not to worry. She won’t be staycationing to veg out in front of her TV in her trendiest lounge pants—she’s taking the year off to work on herself as well as feminist activism! She spent last year's International Women’s Day tackling major questions regarding gender inequality in a HeForShe live-stream event. To top it off, she has her own online feminist book club open to anyone and everyone. Some of her recommendations include All About Love: New Visions by Bell Hooks, The Colour Purple by Alice Walker and My Life on the Road by Gloria Steinem.
