We love love—even better if we’re talking about the rich, famous people type of love. These new celeb couples have been some of the few bright spots in the tire fire that has been 2018 thus far. From Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson’s whirlwind engagement and (predictable) breakup to Timothée Chalamet and Lily-Rose Depp getting caught smooching, this year has basically been like a series of quirky rom-coms—and we have loved every minute. (Of course, like any rom-com, some of these couplings weren’t meant to last the year—or even the month—but we’ll #neverforget.)

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas
Can someone please enlighten us on Nick Jonas’ powers of seduction? The former JoBro and Quantico‘s Priyanka Chopra are not just dating. Oh no. They’re *engaged*, at least according to reports that neither of them are bothering to deny. Jonas popped the question in London last month on Chopra’s 36th birthday…after less than 30 days of dating.
The pair were first photographed at the 2017 Met Gala, where they walked the red carpet together, both repping Ralph Lauren. While they *may* have been just friends back then, their chemistry was definitely and noticeably off the charts, prompting Andy Cohen to grill Chopra on the chances of their IRL coupling on an episode of Watch What Happens Live. (We’re not saying that Cohen is psychic, but we’re not saying he isn’t.) Plus, Jonas is known for having a penchant for older ladies, having been linked to actress Kate Hudson—13 years his senior—in 2015 and previously dating Australian singer Delta Goodrem—eight years his senior—in 2012.
Jonas and Chopra sparked rumours they were dating after spending Memorial Day together, along with friends Chord Overstreet (minus his GF Emma Watson), Wilmer Valderrama and Glen Powell. The pair looked pretty cozy snuggling up on a yacht, and sitting beside each other at lunch. The outing came days after Chopra, 35, and Jonas, 25, were spotted together at an LA Dodgers game, in what looked very much like a date night. Since the low-key holiday, the couple has gone very public: travelling together, planning date nights and even attending a Jonas family wedding in New Jersey. Jonas even jetted overseas to join Chopra in her hometown of Mumbai, India (where he made their relationship Insta official in a *seriously* cute vid of Chopra).
For her part, Chopra says that she’s not a planner when it comes to love. “I’m not someone who looks for love. I don’t believe in making it happen,” she told Marie Claire in March 2017. “My life has been shaped by so many serendipitous moments so far, I feel like, why screw with a good thing?”
