Today marks the 22nd annual World AIDS Day, an entire day dedicated to raising AIDS awareness globally. Since 1988, people around the world have shown their support for the cause by wearing a red ribbon every December 1st, the world wide symbol for solidarity in the fight against AIDS. This year, the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research has named Canadian pop princess Keshia Chante the new youth ambassador and will be showing their support by creating Canada’s largest red ribbon in the heart of downtown Toronto. Join Chante and CANFAR volunteers at 11:30 am at Yonge and Dundas Square (10 Dundas Street East) to show your support for this important cause.
