Even before holding auditions, Canada’s Got Talent has already lined up an array of talented Canadians. Citytv announced this morning that Breakfast Television host Dina Pugliese will helm the competition, while opera luminary Measha Brueggergosman and songwriter Stephan Moccio will be sitting next to legendary funnyman Martin Short on the judging panel. The talent search show, which has been wildly popular in Britain and the U.S., draws performers of all stripes—from pop singers, to breakdancers, to ventriloquists. Tomorrow, the host and judges will kick off the season in Calgary. Hang tight, folks: we’re that much closer to finding the Canadian Susan Boyle. -Allison Friedman

Canada’s Got Talent debuts on Citytv in March 2012.
