Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj Seek Femme Fatale For World Tour

Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj are teaming up this summer

Britney Spears’ upcoming tour is going to be the ultimate girly-girl dance party.  Hip-Hop Princess Nicki Minaj has just announced she will be joining Britney on her Femme Fatale tour this summer.

Singer Enrique Iglesias was originally supposed to join the tour but dropped out unexpectedly right after it was announced, turning the tour into an all-girl performance. It’s no surprise that Minaj, whose monumental success over the past year includes being the first artist to have seven singles simultaneously on Billboard’s Hot 100, was chosen to join Brit Brit.

The tour will also feature newcomer Jessie and the Toy Boys as an opening act as well as the Australian songwriter-DJ sisters Nervo, who have written songs for Ke$ha, Kylie Minogue and David Guetta.  The tour officially hits the road June 16th in Sacramento and will end with performances in Montreal and Toronto on August 11 and 13th respectively.  And that’s not all–it’s been reported that there may be another artist added to the list before the tour kicks off.  Here are five artists we’d love to see team up with our favourite Femme Fatale:

1. Ke$ha
It’s only fitting since she co-wrote Brit’s newest single “Party till the World Ends” Ke$ha told Spin.com, “That song is me imagining her and any female musician touring the world,” she said. “You know, when you go out, and you’re having an amazing, magical night and you don’t want to go to sleep and you want it to last until the world ends.”

2. Rihanna
Rihanna and Britney just did an amazing remix of Rihanna’s song “S&M” and they sound so good together, imagine what could happen if you put them side-by-side.

3. Sabi
This female rapper newcomer has been featured on Britney’s Femme Fatale track “Drop Dead Beautiful.”  Britney already knows this girl’s got talent, why not bring her along too?

4.  Shakira
Since Enrique isn’t tagging along anymore, Shakira can add some Latin flavour to the mix, not to mention some great booty-shaking moves.

5. Keri Hilson
With her newest track “Pretty Girl Rock,” she’s proven that she’s got enough swagger to perform with the likes of Britney and Nicki. –Ashley Singh
