Allie MacDonald dons a million dollar necklace for the red carpet

The 35th annual Toronto International Film Festival truly started out with a flash, thanks in part to Canadian-born Allie MacDonald, star of SCORE: A Hockey Musical, who wore a million dollar diamond necklace for the festival’s opening night. The brilliant piece of jewelry is made entirely of 75 carats of un-cut, un-polished Ontario rough diamonds from the De Beers Victor Mine, off the James Bay Coast and is encased in 18-carat gold. Looking beautifully radiant, Allie did a great job displaying to the world two of our homegrown treasures.

The necklace will be available for purchase at BIRKS on Bloor St in Toronto, 416-922-2266.
