5. “I Could Stay”—Kreesha Turner

The Edmonton-born singer takes risks that pay off—who else could make a blue leopard-print catsuit work? But it’s her skin-showcasing draped beige dress that steals the spotlight from her Garden of Eden surroundings.

4. “Girl Panic!”—Duran Duran

Yes, Duran Duran are still making new music. And if the legendary New Wave group are the lightening rod we need to reunite golden-age supermodels Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen, Eva Herzigova and Yasmin Le Bon in looks by Balmain and Dolce & Gabbana, then rock on.

3. “We Found Love”–Rihanna

Tough girl looks like Rihanna’s Jeremy Scott Spring 2012 denim top and skirt, completed with curls wrapped in a bandana, usher in the next era of her bad-girl style evolution. Bonus props for a dark-as-a-London-evening opening monologue by Agyness Dean.

2. “Shake It Out”—Florence + The Machine

In an appropriately eerie video for a song about performing personal exorcisms, Florence Welch drapes herself in couture by Valentino and Elie Saab to attend a lavish masked ball.

1.    “Run The World (Girls)”—Beyonce

Take or leave the song and Queen B’s shoulder-shimmying dance move (turns out the “Single Ladies” strut it was not). But whatever you do don’t ditch that wardrobe: Alexander McQueen’s crimson armour-esque dress, Brian Lichtenberg’s black fur shrug, and a Givenchy Couture white gown with sheer v-neck that’s perfect for—what else?—harnessing hyenas.
