The nominations for the 2011 Golden Globes are in and, as usual, there are some shocking snubs, unexpected nods and a bevy of big names.
The red carpet will be packed with A-listers come January, with Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman and Halle Berry all receiving nominations. Johnny Depp is the only actor nominated twice, both for his kooky and colourful role as the Mad Hatter in Alice and Wonderland and his role alongside Jolie in The Tourist.
Young Hollywood was also represented, with lovely up-and-comers Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence both garnering their first best actress nominations for Easy A and Winter’s Bone, respectively. Stay tuned for more on them in FLARE’s February issue.
