The decades: Fashion Cares celebrated its 20th year of fundraising for the AIDS Committee of Toronto with its annual spectacular gala.
The drama: Three divas took to the stage: ’80s dance icon Jody Watley, soulstress Divine Brown and Broadway belter Jennifer Holliday.
The darlings: Ms. Viva Glam Pamela Anderson and Dsquared designers Dean and Dan Caten popped by to salute Fashion Cares’ grand master, Phillip Ing, the show’s artistic director and producer.
The designs: current and classic costumes taken from 20 years of FC runways, including pieces by Hoax Couture and Vivienne Westwood
The duds: Models wore anything from feathers and latex to a slick of body paint. The dream: Hopefully, in less than 20 years we’ll be celebrating a cure for AIDS and HIV.
