1-800-IPAD

Skip the customer service call when setting up your iPad on Rogers

Now that you’ve convinced yourself to get outside and enjoy the sunshine this weekend instead of waiting in line for an iPad, I’m going to give you one more reason to reconsider heading to the mall. Before you get upset, hear me out.

I’ve just learned that Rogers is helping to make iPad purchases that much simpler by offering contracts to customers via the device. At point of purchase, let it be known that you are a Rogers customer and you’ll receive a SIM card. Slip the SIM card in and choose one of two payment plans ($15 for 250MB/30 days or $35 for 5GB/30 days) to be charged to your credit card. No 1-800 set-up nightmares! And what’s better? No contract, so you can cancel anytime, for any period of time (perfect for frequent international travelers). Plus Rogers will send you a reminder as you approach your limit so you can upgrade your plan on a whim.

I know it sounds too good to be true, but I checked the fine print—it’s for real.
