Now that warmer weather is coming (any day now…) we’ve started to dip into our bronzing makeup in hopes of transitioning into a warmer, more glowy look for Spring. There are loads to choose from out there, so we grabbed three powder formulations in hopes of finding “the one” in time for May days.

Rimmel Sunshimmer 3 in 1 Shimmering Bronzer in 002, $8: This compact comes in two different colour variations––in spite of our pale complexion we went for the darker “Bronze Goddess” option for a healthy does of colour. The kaleidoscope effect of three shades serves up a natural flush that’s heavy on shimmer. A great choice for those who want to show off a smooth, nearly-perfect complexion.

The Body Shop Brush on Beads in Bronze, $21: There’s only one shade to pick from for these unique bronzing beads. The colour is probably best suited for year-round medium skin tones, but it was ideal for adding extra colour for a night out (especially on chest and shoulders). We also love its matte formula with the smallest hint of irredescence.

Guerlain Terracotta 4 Seasons Tailor-Made Bronzing Powder in 02, $80: If you’re constantly going through new bronzing compacts weary of finding the perfect shade, this could be the right investment for you. Available in both blonde and brunette variations, this compact comes with four different shades to mix and match for the perfect fit. This ultra-matte, super-fine  powder is just about fool-proof.
