This month, sustainably-designed terra20 opens at Pinecrest Shopping Centre. The huge retail space features thousands of eco-friendly, sustainable products — everything from cosmetics to toys to home decor. It’s like a Walmart, but green! The shop even has an Ecobar where you can refill your household cleaners (with non-toxic options, naturally). 

New Sweet-Smelling Nail Polish Remover Available from Priti NYC 

Nail polish remover that smells like lavender, lemongrass or white blossoms: Sounds too good to be true, right? Not so! This week Priti NYC launches a new version of its Soy Polish Remover, a 100-percent natural, 100-percent biodegradable remover stored in a recyclable apothecary-style bottle.

Ottawa entrepreneur Rebecca Cook has created Bare Love Beauty, a three-product line of moisturizing oil-based treatments for body, face and hair. Using all-natural ingredients, the treatments include a technology that releases over time to protect the skin barrier and relieve dry skin.
