Foods to avoid:
SUGAR • All sweeteners, including: white sugar, brown sugar, honey, maple syrup, corn syrup, maple sugar, molasses, turbinado, and raw sugar • Sucrose, fructose, maltose, lactose, glycogen, glucose, mannitol, sorbitol, galactose, monosaccharides, polysaccharides
FRUIT • All fruits, including frozen, canned, and dried fruit • All canned and frozen fruit juice • Melons, especially cantaloupe (these fruits often contain mould)
YEAST • Baker’s yeast • Brewer’s yeast • Baked goods prepared with yeast (breads, rolls, crackers, pastries, muffins, etc.)
REFINED GRAINS • Biscuits • Cakes • Cereals (unless the label shows 100% whole grain ingredients) • Cornstarch • Custard powder • White flour products • White pasta • White rice
FERMENTED PRODUCTS • White vinegar • Red wine vinegar • Apple cider vinegar • Balsamic vinegar • Spreads & sauces, including: mayonnaise, salad dressing, ketchup, steak sauce, BBQ sauce, shrimp sauce, soy sauce, mustard, pickled vegetables, green olives, relishes, and horseradish sauce
FUNGUS • Mushrooms • Truffles
MOLD • Peanuts • Peanut Butter • Pistachios
ALCOHOL • All forms, including: red wine, white wine, beer, whiskey, brandy, gin, scotch, any fermented liquor, vodka, rum, and all liqueurs
CHEESES • All forms of aged, mouldy and processed cheeses, including: Roquefort, Gorgonzola and other blue cheeses, processed cheese such as cheese slices or dips/sauces.
