Scary new stats on sun safety

Scary stat: A recent survey by the American Academy of Dermatology found that only one-third of people knew that neither UVA nor UVB rays are safe for skin. More frightening still, about half of the 7,000 surveyed wrongly thought that a base tan is a good way to protect against sun damage. Looks like many of us can use a refresher course in sun protection. To keep your gorgeous skin looking and feeling its best, don’t forget to slather on some SPF before heading outdoors this summer!
