This must-see spot overlooks the city of St. John’s Newfoundland and is located right at the base of the Harbour. Nicknamed Signal Hill for its historical purpose in the days before radio, signal masts were used on the hill to send messages when ships were entering the harbour. Pack a picnic and hike the nature trail behind the hill to get the most impressive view of the Atlantic Ocean and the city steeped in history.
