Spring Runway Report – Men’s Wear

Men’s Wear

An androgynous muse inspired collections as diverse as Alexander McQueen and Temperley. Some designers historically referenced men’s wear adaptations and featured mannish models dressed in relaxed layers with dark deconstructed vests, while other designers took a more feminine (though not dainty) approach to masculine suits by sending sexy unbuttoned and fitted men’s dress shirts, slim pants and silk tunics down the runway.

Must-have: Shorts suits. Blazers with surprisingly flattering shorts make the classic suit thoroughly modern.

Wear it now: Put a spring in your step with this new take on modern minimalism. Wool/linen jacket, $925, and matching pant, $625, Jeremy Laing. Cotton top, $98, French Connection. Necklace, Carole Tanenbaum Vintage Collection.
